On Gather, I'm Looking For ...:

Leads on art shows, exhibits, and prospective clients. Also fellow artist friends. I also love to read articles other's have written, and see the world through other's eyes. This site is a nice place to be able to "travel" without physically doing it. <br>I am disappointed with certain individuals who use this site for playing games and uses deceit to exploit innocent and well meaning people.

Favorite Music, Artists, Genres:

I love all music--classical to rap--it all depends on the mood I am in at the moment.
Favorite Books, Writers, Genres:

The Joy Luck Club. However, I mostly enjoy books that are informative rather than entertaining. I love "how to" books. I do enjoy reading the classics though, because most of them are the original themes., Amy Tan, Tolstoy, ...I like reading biographies too.
Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres:

Amalie, Fight Club, The Joy Luck Club, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Gladiator, Underworld, Underworld Revolution, anything with Will Farrel--I love comedies. But I like so many movies!
Favorite TV Shows, Actors:

CSI--all of them, but NY is not on the top of the list. I also like Grey's Anatomy. I don't keep up with them, because I usually don't watch much tv.
Favorite Places:

Anywhere I am able to be with my husband and kids. With my family, I am happiest, and no physical place can make me feel that safe and happy.
Interests and Activities:

My husband and children are my world. I love art (all mediums when I am creating) and all genres. I love live theatre, hanging out with friends and family, and learning how to do new things. The outdoors is great, but I do not get a chance to participate in that much at the moment., Painting, drawing, martial arts, etc.
Wish List:

That my kids and husband are always happy and healthy. That the world turns toward being a better place: kindness, love, compassion, and understanding become more of what we see than corruption, egotistical, self involved, and opportunist people. <br><br>

I agree - PA is very nice! I'm relatively new, too - well, I've lived here for almost three years now. But I absolutely love the people, the landscape, and everything! (I lived in Texas before, so having mountains around is absolutely fabulous!)

Thank you! She (Tara) really is a sweetheart. She likes to sit on her little haunches and give hugs. And not because she was trained to, or because she's "commanded" to, she does it of her own accord!!! She loves to show her love and cuddle. LOL but I digress!
